5HT3 Receptor Antagonist.
MOA
Eurotron is a potent, selective antagonist of 5HT3 receptors. The antiemetic activity of the drug is brought about through the inhibition of 5HT3 receptors present both centrally (medullary chemoreceptor zone) and peripherally (GI tract).
Indications

Prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy and Surgery.

  • Chest pain
  • Hypotension

  • Tachycardia
  • Constipation
  • Minor skin rashes

Dose

Take 1mg twice a day or 2mg one a day. First dose should be administered within one hour before the start of the therapy.
